CONTRIBUTION TO TEACHING
Transfer of Know-How :
Training of short duration
CPN welcomes students for internships that allow them to acquire laboratory techniques or to initiate them into research. The trainees are students in BTS (two year technical degree), IUT (University Institute of Technology), students with the level of General Certificate of Secondary Education (« Brevet des Collèges » in France)...
The trainees' applications can be sent by mail or email (see contact page).
We advise the students to indicate the team (s) in which they wish to do an internship. Their request will be sent to the corresponding team leader(s) and also posted on the Intranet. Otherwise, their application will be posted only on the Intranet.
Trainees in Master's degree
CPN is also involved in training students by welcoming trainees of doctoral schools to which its teams are attached. Research programs are defined by the team leader and the internship supervisor.

TRANSFER TO KNOW :
CPN trains its students to communicate through the Journal Club. The latter, by the choice of articles offered, aims :
• To facilitate the interaction between teams of the Centre through the topics covered by the article.
• To promote a critical approach to research topics, issues, and methodology.
• To develop a constructive synthesis, generating discussion and dialogue.
Also a Journal Club session will see:
• The presentation and analysis of an article directly related to the themes of the Centre: Neurosciences and Psychiatry, making it seem new methodologies, techniques and / or marking an effort to open.
• Discussions and reasoned criticism allowing debates in the Assembly.
Frequency and Programming
Frequency of once every 15 days on Tuesday is maintained.
Stakeholders can plan the date of intervention.
The journal club can be in the form of Progress Report: This is a session to do the point on the progress of the work completion of thesis. The PhD student presents the progression of its work at the end of the first year before his final defense (the presentation is divided as follows: introduction / results / perspectives / solutions proposed and finally the opinions and / or advice from public ).
Registrations are on themes free and without representative, with the goal of receiving at least two tenured researchers.
PARTICIPATION IN SCIENTIFIC EVENTS
To complete this training in communication, students are encouraged to participate in various scientific events in which they can present their work as a poster or oral communications.
